To mark the canonisation of Titus Brandsma which took place at St Peter’s, Rome, on Sunday, May 15th, the Irish Province of Carmelites will celebrate a Mass of Thanksgiving at Whitefriar Street Church on Sunday, May 22nd at 4.00 pm.
The Irish Province of Carmelites are organising a pilgrimage to attend the canonisation of Titus Brandsma in Rome from 12th – 17th May, 2022. The canonisation will take place at St Peter’s Square on Sunday 15th May.
Pope Francis announced today that Titus Brandsma, Carmelite and Martyr, will be canonised in May. This news is greeted with joy by the Carmelite Family throughout the world.

For today in the city of David a saviour has been born for you who is Messiah and Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find an infant wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger.” Luke 2:10-12
