Mass of Thanksgiving for the Canonisation of Titus Brandsma

To mark the canonisation of Titus Brandsma which took place at St Peter’s, Rome, on Sunday, May 15th, the Irish Province of Carmelites will celebrate a Mass of Thanksgiving at Whitefriar Street Church on Sunday, May 22nd at 4.00 pm.

The canonisation of Titus Brandsma took place at St Peter’s, Rome, on Sunday, May 15th. This is a great moment of joy for the Carmelite Order, as St Titus has been an inspirational figure to all who walk the Carmelite path for many years.

To mark this great event, the Irish Province of Carmelites will celebrate a Mass of Thanksgiving at Whitefriar Street Church on Sunday, May 22nd at 4.00 pm. The Most Rev. Dermot Farrell, Archbishop of Dublin, will be the Principal Celebrant and the Most Rev. Fernando Millán Romeral, O.Carm., former Prior General, will be the homilist. The music will be lead by the Palestrina Choir.
