The Irish Province of Carmelites are organising a pilgrimage to attend the canonisation of Titus Brandsma in Rome from 12th – 17th May, 2022. The canonisation will take place at St Peter’s Square on Sunday 15th May at 10.00 am, and the Carmelite Order have organised a programme of events around the event, including:
· Catechesis
· International Mass and Vigil in preparation Basilica of St Paul Outside the Walls
· Gathering in St Albert’s International Centre (CISA)
· Mass of Thanksgiving at the Altar of the Choir of St Peter’s Basilica
The pilgrimage will be led by Fr Michael Troy, Prior Provincial. Accommodation is available on a half board or full board basis. This is a very significant moment in the life of the Carmelite Order and also provides a great opportunity to visit the Eternal City. All are welcome to join us.
