The Provincial Office is the administrative hub of the Irish Province of Carmelites. Every three years, the Irish Province of Carmelites have a Chapter meeting. The purpose of the meeting is to review the previous term and to plan for the coming three years. One key task of this meeting is to elect a new leadership, a Prior Provincial and Provincial Council, who will implement the decisions of the Provincial Chapter and oversee the management of the Province for three years. The current Prior Provincial is Fr Michael Troy, O.Carm.
